Therapy designed around where you want to go, not just where you've been.
I offer professional mental health counseling and therapeutic hypnosis for adults and couples who are ready to stop settling and start building a life that actually fits who they are. Every service is delivered via telemental health, so you can access support from anywhere in New York State.

You don't have to keep carrying this alone.
Individual therapy is the foundation of what I do. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and tailored specifically to you. Rather than spending endless hours analyzing the past, we focus on understanding what is getting in your way, building on your existing strengths, and developing clear strategies for moving forward.
Individual counseling may be a good fit if you are dealing with:
Better communication. Deeper connection. A stronger relationship.
I am Gottman-trained and combine the Gottman Method with Solution Focused Couples Therapy to help partners break destructive cycles, rebuild trust, and develop the kind of genuine understanding that makes relationships work long term.
Couples counseling can help with:

Your intelligence was never the problem.
I work with adults whose potential is being disrupted by ADHD-related challenges including procrastination, inconsistency, emotional impulsivity, disorganization, and chronic self-criticism. Therapy focuses on building practical systems, reducing shame, improving emotional resilience, and helping you work with how your brain operates rather than against it.
Many of my clients with ADHD are among the most capable people I work with. They simply need a different kind of support to close the gap between who they are and what they are able to accomplish.
What happened to you does not have to define what comes next.
I provide trauma-informed care for adults recovering from childhood trauma, relationship betrayal, loss, chronic stress, addiction-related damage, and other painful life experiences. Therapy focuses on restoring emotional safety, rebuilding self-worth, reducing the ongoing impact of painful memories, and helping you reconnect with a stronger and more grounded sense of yourself.

What if the change you've been working toward could go deeper?
Therapeutic hypnosis is one of the most misunderstood and underutilized tools in mental health care. Used professionally and ethically within the context of counseling, hypnosis can help clients access deeper levels of focus, relaxation, and emotional processing that traditional talk therapy alone sometimes cannot reach.
I am trained through the American Society for Clinical Hypnotherapy, the National Guild of Hypnotists, and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
Therapeutic hypnosis may be helpful for:
Clients remain fully aware and in control throughout every session. Hypnosis is used as a serious clinical tool, not entertainment.
You were not designed to live in survival mode.
If anxiety is running your life, controlling your decisions, or quietly exhausting you from the inside out, therapy can help you understand what is driving it and develop real skills for managing it. I help clients calm their nervous system, reduce excessive worry, improve daily functioning, and build a more stable and peaceful inner life.

Therapy that respects how you think and what you actually need.
Many men come to therapy when they feel stuck, isolated, unmotivated, or uncertain about their direction in life, career, relationships, or identity. I work with men who want direct, practical help managing stress, anger, compulsive behaviors, addiction recovery, confidence issues, or the quiet feeling that life is not turning out the way it should.
Sessions are direct, respectful, and built around real progress.

You give so much to everyone else. This is space for you.
I work with women who are managing overwhelming emotional, relational, or caregiving responsibilities while often neglecting their own needs. Therapy focuses on emotional support, confidence, healthy boundaries, anxiety reduction, healing from relational wounds, and helping you reconnect with your own identity, goals, and sense of direction.

Your spirituality belongs in the room too.
For clients who desire it, I am comfortable integrating spiritual and faith-related perspectives into the counseling process. This may include exploring meaning, purpose, forgiveness, hope, identity, or spiritual struggle within the context of professional mental health care. Spiritual integration is always guided entirely by your own beliefs, values, and preferences.

The pattern does not have to win.
I work with clients seeking support for recovery from alcohol misuse, compulsive behaviors, pornography use, gambling, and other unhealthy patterns. Treatment focuses on emotional insight, identity development, relapse prevention, accountability, and rebuilding trust in yourself and your relationships. Therapeutic hypnosis and solution-focused methods may be incorporated to strengthen motivation and support lasting change.
That is completely fine. Most people's struggles don't fit neatly into a single category. Reach out and tell me what is going on in your own words. We will figure out together whether I am the right person to help.
A free discovery call is a brief, no-pressure conversation where you can share what you're dealing with, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for whether working together makes sense.
